Outlook

What’s your general outlook on life? You need to answer this honestly and be true to yourself. Analyze your own personal life. Count how many times you say positive things versus saying negative things in one day. When you engage in conversations with others are your conversations upbeat or have a bit of a negative bent? Our outlook on life can be easily influenced by our own individual past experiences. If you have a history where anxiety, tension and fear underlie your everyday life, and your efforts are focused mainly on the negative, you are both feeding your mind and training it for undue stress.

The only way to truly move on and keep your energy charged up and motivated is to keep a healthy and positive general outlook on life. Learn to be more accepting. Accept that not-so-great things will happen to you along the way (and along with every other person out there in this world). In order to move forward, you need to embrace the approach of taking steps – no matter how big or how small. Start your journey with consistent baby steps, and when you are up for it, convert to giant steps, or settle for something inbetween. The point being is to keep moving forward – you can’t go back, so going forward is the only option. And if you go against the grain, know it will only make the journey harder.
