Cleansing Smoothie

Ever heard of You are what you eat? Unfortunately it is true. The foods that we consume, healthy or not, all have an effect on our bodies. Some may be negative and immediate, such as acne, fatigue, and bloatedness, while others are long term, like coronary and heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer, just to name a few.


From time to time, and hopefully more often then not, it is a good idea to try and free the organs from the toxins that our bodies are exposed to. Certain food or in some cases, combination of foods help our organs reduce the number of toxins especially in our liver.


Not everything healthy is bad tasting. Try this cleansing smoothie and you be the judge.


Blend:

  • 1 avocado (peeled & pip removed)

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • 1/2 cup of fresh mango

  • 1/2 tbsp raw honey

  • a few sprigs of mint leaves
